Yale Art Gallery / Yale Campus Tour
11th grade students in World History I will visit the Yale Art Gallery, on the Yale University campus in New Haven, Connecticut. This museum has significant collections of art from all over the world, including from several civilizations that are studied as a part of the World History I curriculum. This includes the Mali Empire, Song Dynasty, Mongol Empire, Tokugawa Shogunate, Mughal Empire, Safavid Empire, and more. Following the Art Gallery tour, students will go on a general campus tour of the Yale University Campus. The Art Gallery tour begins at 10:00 AM and lasts until 11:00 AM, and the campus tour begins at 11:30 AM and goes until 12:30 PM. Students will then eat lunch at the Yale Commons, also on the university campus.
