Multicultural Night
The History & Social Studies as well as the Humanities Department will like to host the annual Multicultural Event. This event will display the various PBLs from the History classes, as well as set up some activities booths hosted by the Foreign Language and Art classes to create crafts, receive henna, or sample bite sizes of cuisine. The food will be provided by a potluck which will be prepared by student and/or parent volunteers.
We will also hold a short show including student volunteers to conduct performances as a reflection of their culture. We will also hold the fashion show displaying apparel of our student population’s culture. Families are welcomed to attend this event to see their students perform.
This event will be held in early March for two main reasons:
1. It is in between the Winter and Spring Sports Season.
2. Pushing this to May will not allow as many students to participate due to AP Exams, sporting events, and possibly losing the seniors due to graduation.
Thank you,
Participating Grade(s): 9th Grade, 10th Grade, 11th Grade, 12th Grade
