On June 1st, HCSS held an annual Color Run fundraiser. The goal of this year’s fundraiser was to raise funds for our rising Seniors’ prom fund & support our PTO. After expenses, we have successfully raised over $2,000!
The event was again a huge success! Nearly 200 students, parents, and multiple staff members participated. Students were given the option to jog, run, or walk. Many students ran competitively, and we had winners for Middle School & High School. During running, students were sprayed with colorful slush & powder. Afterwards, pizza, watermelon, and drinks were provided. The finale of the event was a huge colorful “fireworks” of dry powder in the air. Special thanks to our front office for helping us with logistics, HCSS PTO for purchasing food, and all the Juniors who stepped-in to help.
